Every program at Glory Thrift Store is designed to prevent juvenile delinquency and give justice-involved youth and young adults in Los Angeles County and Inglewood the skills, confidence, and opportunities to build a brighter future.
"To help youth and young adults through the prevention of juvenile delinquency — through Journalism Education Enrichment and a Better Chance for a Second Chance at Glory Thrift on 54th Street."
— Glory Thrift Store Mission
The Journalism Education Enrichment Program — JEEP — is the vehicle that drives youth and young adults to careers in journalism. JEEP equips participants with real-world skills in writing, interviewing, researching, editing, broadcasting, and publishing. Participants learn to tell their own stories and amplify the voices of their community through hands-on training in print, digital, and broadcast media.
